A DOUBLE PAGE FROM 'BLUE'

I created my book last year. All the illustrations were created with minimal sketching and concept drawings. It all happened one by one while creating the story and following the narrative. This interesting article about cave painting caused by a hallucinogenic agent is quite striking! The resemblance coincides with my drawing. 'A trance flower' painting against my - a universe - mind - journey - to unknown - illustration. I would like to believe there is something primal. An archetype of reoccurring symbol/motif. An archetypal journey representing the quest to understand the mind.
